City's main square, Ban Jelačić Square is the beating heart of the Christmas market. All wrapped up in a festive decoration the square boasts fantastic content such as giant Christmas three, choirs and singing carols, open-air concerts and of course mulled wine stands.
Hit north from the main square, and you will get to the European Square that hosts more modern events such as DJ sets performed on a giant orb-shaped stage. Here you will also find stands with traditional food, mulled wine and hot chocolate.
Head south from the main square, and you will find yourself on a stunning Zrinjevac Park looking all glammed up with Christmas lights. This is the place where Zagreb gets truly adventlicious. Here you can try all wonders of traditional Croatian food from goulash, sarma (stuffed cabbage rolls), sweet štrukli, fritule and many more. The magical atmosphere is further emphasised by live music coming from a small pavilion in the heart of the park.
Go further down south, and you will get to Zagreb's magical King Tomislav Square all pimped with vibrant lights and decorations. Adventurous souls will love it here as the square boasts Ice Park made for the fun-packed holiday. Besides skating, people love to socialise here surrounded by great music, delicious food and warm beverages.
